"I am so honored to present this world-class faculty to you. Uniquely, three of your presenters, one-third of your course faculty, have dealt with cancer themselves. They give you rare, personal and powerful insights as both clinicians and cancer patients. Our other faculty provide solid training from the perspective of conventional medicine and current science. All of us look forward to sharing these hard-won treasures with you, to the benefit of yourself, your family, and those in your care."
— Michael
Dr Michael Gaeta, DAOM
Michael dedicates the Cancer Support & Prevention program to his first mentor, Brother Ronald Marcellin, who died of liver cancer- and chemotherapy-related complications in 1993. It was Ron’s passing that forged a burning desire in Michael to help others prevent cancer, attracted many cancer patients to his wholistic healthcare practice, and ultimately led him to the create this course to share his significant body of knowledge and clinical experience.
Dr Gaeta is a visionary educator, clinician and writer in the field of natural health care. His purpose is to improve the patient care and practice success of natural healthcare professionals, in order to co-create a world of vital, resilient people who find fulfillment through positive contribution, and choose a lifestyle of “nature first, drugs last”.
Michael has trained 20,000 health professionals in 30 years as an educator. His teaching is informed by 34 years of successful clinical practice, which combines clinical nutrition, acupuncture, herbal medicine, low-level light therapy and Amma therapy (Asian bodywork therapy) to help people heal, grow and evolve.
Michael is also a pianist and composer. He is past president of the Acupuncture Society of New York, earning awards for State Association President of the Year and State Association of the Year.
He trains thousands of health professionals each year, through his live & online trainings, including the best-in-class Clinician's Mastermind Circle certification program in natural functional medicine. Students of that program receive free tuition for this Cancer course, as well as our Cardiovascular and Autoimmune courses, as a membership bonus (normally $1,692).
Joseph Antell, CNC
Joseph Antell is a cancer survivor. He used an integrative approach to healing through lymphoma, and has been cancer-free for over a decade. Joseph has been a trusted mentor for Dr Gaeta since 1996. He is a certified herbalist and nutritional practitioner.
Joseph has been practicing the non-touch healing art of Attunement since 1971. He has given over 100,000 Attunement sessions, and taught many interested students the Attunement process. For 14 years, he coordinated the healthcare for 150 visitors and residents in a wholistic community. His daily health concerns ranged from the birth and welcoming of newborn babies, to people in need of assisted living, and the enfoldment of those moving through the death and transition process.
Joseph has two daughters, and lives in Loveland, Colorado. He trains healthcare professionals in the field of nutrition through his work for Standard Process West. He is an exceptional speaker who provides weekly study groups, teleconferences and seminars on various topics including the Heart Sound Recorder (HSR). His ongoing specialty and love is long-distance Attunement work, and spreading the whole-food nutrition teachings of Dr Royal Lee.
In Joseph’s CSP presentation, he shares his personal journey through cancer, and the specific mindbody, diet, lifestyle, and natural medicine protocols he used to become cancer-free.
Dr Mark Berger, MD
After receiving his MD degree from the University of Minnesota, Dr Berger spent four years in the US Navy taking care of a battalion of Marines, including six months in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Upon completing his military service, he spent the next four years studying diagnostic radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, followed by a fellowship in body imaging at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. He has spent 20 years practicing as a diagnostic radiologist in St. Paul, Minnesota, and moved to Colorado in 2018 where he continues to practice radiology.
A life-changing moment occurred for Dr Berger after years of seeing people’s health deteriorate in the images he was interpreting. He realized that conventional medicine was simply broken. Individuals were becoming sicker and sicker while trying to follow conventional medical wisdom and nutritional recommendations.
After transforming his own diet and lifestyle, he became interested in discovering both conventional and alternative forms of therapy that would allow individuals the greatest opportunity to maintain their health and prevent illness. This led to completion of a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona in Tucson, followed by certifications from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Kresser Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr Berger is now committed to using these techniques to enhance the health and wellness of his family, friends and patients.
Dr Berger’s CSP presentation will focus on radiology and oncology, and integrative medical perspectives on cancer.
Dr James Lyons-Weiler, PhD
is a Pittsburgh-area scientist. He is a biologist, geneticist, lecturer, and author, who has worked collaboratively for over twenty years on more than one hundred research studies in the areas of biological diversity, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, infectious disease, autism and other aspects of clinical, biomedical and translational research.
Dr Lyons-Weiler was the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the open access, peer-reviewed research journal Cancer Informatics. He is an expert in study design, multivariate data analysis, genetics and systems biology. He has authored three books: “Ebola: An Evolving Story,” “Cures vs. Profits: Successes in Translational Research”. For his latest book, “The Environmental and Genetic Causes of Autism,” he reviewed over 3,000 research studies, and cited more than 2,000 of these studies in the published work. He is the current Director of The Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge.
Dr Lyons-Weiler’s CSP presentation will focus on cervical cancer, HPV (human papilloma virus) vaccines, and the practical application of his cancer-related research.
Dr Jeff Prystupa, DC, FIACA
is a Colorado chiropractor and natural health educator, who began his health care career as a cancer researcher at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the mid-1970s. He worked at the Laboratory of Human Genetics in the New York Blood Center, where he performed tissue culture for Cancer and Birth Defects research.
His subsequent studies included Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Biofeedback, Brain scanning, Chiropractic, Energy therapies, Fluoride research, Genetics, Inflammation, Kinesiology, Laser, Massage, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Thermography, and Yoga. Dr Prystupa graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1983.
From the microscope lens, analyzing cell growth, watching cells grow, live and die in culture, noting growth media utilization, cell nutrition, observing toxicology principles, and comparing normal cell growth and cancer cell growth, impressions were made that charted his career path. For thirty years, he has been dedicated to patient-based research. First learning what causes illness and disease, but then to restore health – at the cell level.
“When conditions within the body cause symptoms” he says, “it is wiser to change the conditions than it is to change the symptoms. Toxicity has replaced infection as the new disease vector. The focus in healing needs to move beyond ‘killing small bugs’ to harnessing the healing effects of physics – light, energy fields and nutrition. A new dawn is breaking in health care.”
Dr Prytupa’s CSP presentation, “Cancer is Hot,” covers the causes and cellular characteristics of cancer, inflammation, and a special focus on DCIS and breast cancer.

Nancy Fisher, MS, LAc, CNFMP
Nancy Fisher began her health career as a licensed Dental Hygienist, and continued as a Licensed Acupuncturist. Her first introduction to the real power of Asian and wholistic medicine was when her then 17-year-old son recovered from long standing chronic health issues, after years of conventional approaches provided no help. This life-changing event led her to study with several mentors in the acupuncture, Asian medicine and natural functional medicine field.
Nancy received her Master’s degree in Health Sciences and Acupuncture at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where Dr Gaeta was one of her teachers. Her post-graduate studies included graduating from the Clinician’s Mastermind Circle certification program in natural functional medicine here at the Gaeta Institute, and Lonny Jarrett’s Clinical Integration program. In addition, Nancy has had the honor to train with some of the most esteemed teachers in Clinical/Functional Nutrition, Five-Phase Acupuncture, Needle-less Aroma Acu-point therapy and Facial Acupuncture.
Nancy has helped people get better quickly and thrive in all areas of their lives, supporting them as they regained their inner power and heal themselves.
